MAN CAUGHT SLEEPING IN STOLEN VEHICLE

Local police officers have arrested a man they found asleep inside a stolen car parked on calle Pintor Fernando Soria in Alicante on Thursday.

The officers had been carrying out routine functions nearby when a member of the public pointed to the man sleeping in the vehicle.

Officers checked the registration and found that the vehicle had been reported stolen a week ago. The sleeping resident, a 20 year old man of Spanish nationality, was arrested on suspicion of the theft. The vehicle´s owner was then contacted to come and collect his missing property.
