Gavin (Hugh Sachs) has a new holiday companion in the form of his employee from his salon, Kenneth (Tony Maudsley).

With Troy back home tending to his sick father, Gavin tries desperately to stick to his low carb diet as Kenneth tries to polish off as much free food as he can get.

Solana regulars, The Garveys (Steve Pemberton, Siobhan Finneran and Oliver Stokes) arrive for a stay with Madge (Sheila Reid) at her luxury villa.
But when they find the villa’s been sold to none other than Cilla Black, the hunt for Madge begins with some unexpected results.

It’s all change at the pool bar when Mateo (Jake Canuso) is introduced to his new work mate Les/ Lesley (Tim Healy) who has a few surprises up his/her sleeve.
And there’s a whiff of a potential holiday romance for Les’s son, Liam (Adam Gillen) who’s besotted by a girl, Natalie (Kathryn Drysdale) but her friend Sam (Shelley Longworth) has other ideas.

With guest stars Denise Welch and Cilla Black.

Coronation Street –
Is only on twice this week, Sunday at 7:30 (8:30 Spanish time) and Thursday 8:30 (9:30 in Spain).

Emmerdale –
Well and truly mixed up, being on for one hour on Tuesday at 7:00 (8:00 Spanish time), then nothing until Thursday when it is normal at 7pm (8pm in Spain) and 8pm (9pm Spanish time).

Eastenders –
Another big mixed bag, but luckily not clashing with any of the others. It is on for an hour on Monday from 7pm (8pm in Spain), another hour on Wednesday at 7pm (again, 8pm in Spain) and Friday at 8pm (9pm Spanish time).

Other highlights

Wimbledon is popping around on BBC 2 this week, so you might want to watch out for that.

The Bill returns to our screen on Tuesday after a short break with drama of the drugs continuing and looking to get quite gripping.

Holby City is not on this week, due to football, but is back on the 29th.

On Wednesday on BBC 4, Lennon Naked stars Christopher Eccleston as John Lennon.

Glastonbury is sprinkled into the BBC2, 3 and 4 schedules this week and into the weekend.

The final episode of this series of Doctor Who is on Saturday with The Big Bang. The last hope for all of reality is a little girl who still believes in stars.
